Math puzzles!

I like to have different intelligent and mathematical puzzles available for students! Here are pictures of the ones
I currently have in the class! Students can sign these out during lunch, before or after school to try to figure out!
I have many talented students who can figure out these puzzles and many of them did not know that they could do it!

I have a variety of different types of Rubik's cubes
which require different patterns and strategies to solve!









Students have to solve the rubik's cube my getting all the same color on every side.

Students have to solve this Rubik's puzzle but this is in the shape of a pyramid!

Here is a 2 by 3. The colors on it are unusual, which adds to its charm!


The 4 by 4 is slowly getting more and more popular so I had to put one of these in my collection.


This is a 4 by 3 cube along 4 sides but on the 2 bases, there are 8 pieces, not including the 2 circle halves. Can you figure out how to unscramble something with this many pieces?


This is yet another variation on the Rubik's cube! It is shaped like a cylinder and has 5 colors! Can you solve this interesting puzzle?

This is a 1 by 3 cube. This is basically a sliver from a 3 by 3!

This is one of the more challenging puzzles. This is called a flaming chariot cube. Do you think you can figure out how to solve it? 4 of the sides only have 6 pieces while the 2 bases have 9!
Here is a 2 by 2. You think that this puzzle might be easier, but do not be fooled. Less pieces means less moves!
The object of this puzzle is to get the ball out of the cage. The bars do not bend of disassemble and the ball and cage
are both made of wood! Some students have succeeded in getting the ball out but then the new puzzle is getting

This is called a Hanoi tower. The tower begins on one of the end posts. The object of the game is to get all the pieces to
the other side of the puzzle with a few rules. You cannot put a bigger piece on top of a smaller piece and you can only move one piece at a time! There are many different ways to solve for this and the puzzles range from 5-10 pieces!

This is a 3D magic puzzle that you can bend into different shapes and figures! Let your imagination run wild and create different animals, shapes or something totally original!

The objective of this puzzle is to get the piece of wood out from the key or to put the key through the wooden piece!
There is a way to twist and turn this device so that every single row has a true statement on it!



This is called a Luben Lock puzzle. The objective is to remove the string and ball without moving the other pieces!
