Week 38 in rooms 111 and 113! Our final week!

Please help your child return any classroom books or textbooks that he or she may have borrowed this year! We are still missing quite a few!

Monday: Field Trip! (hot dog lunch!)

It looks like the weather will be partly cloudy and hot. Mrs. Blincoe’s homeroom will be spending the morning at the Young Farmers' Grounds for some very informative 4-H led stations. In the afternoon we will be touring Graves Mountain Farm apple orchard. (Ms. Ingram’s homeroom will start at Graves and spend the afternoon at the Young Farmers’ Grounds.) 4-H will be providing a hot dog lunch so there is no need to pack lunch unless you want something different. Any water bottles or snacks that are brought will be kept on the bus. Electronics are not allowed on this trip since we have short bus rides and will spend most of the day off the bus. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes. Sunscreen and hats/sunglasses are encouraged.

Tuesday: Field Day! (hot dog lunch!)

Thanks to all of you who have volunteered to help. We are looking forward to a day of fun and games. (Rain or shine) Races, face painting, and inflatables await.Oh, yeah..another hot dog lunch!

Wednesday: Picnic and Yearbooks!(hot dog lunch!)

PTO has helped provide 3rd graders with a picnic lunch of hot dogs and we will have a time to sign this year's yearbook. (The yearbooks are given to all students who have brought back their spring pictures.)

Thursday: Last Day-1/2 day-Report Cards!

Although we all look forward to the last day of school each year, it is always bittersweet to say goodbye to our students after spending the a year getting to know them. We hope that you have a fabulous, fun filled summer full of adventures and good books!

We've grown to love your children very much and we wish them the very best in 4th grade and beyond!
